Being full of the Spirit

Being full of the Spirit

Acts 11:22-24

News of this reached the ears of the church at Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. When he arrived and saw the evidence of the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts. He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.

1. Saw the evidence of the grace of God.

2. He was glad.

3. He came.

4. Encouraged them all.

Acts 4:36-37

Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas ( which means Son of Encouragement ), sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet.

5. He was generous.

As we look at our walk with the Lord can we claim the same attributes?

Do we hear the Spirit talking to us?

Brother and sisters keep that line open. it is a private line, a two way communication, it is connected all day every day.

Adam and Eve could hear God walking in the garden, can we hear Him talking?

If we don’t listen for Him we will not hear Him when He does speak. OH what we miss out on.
