Whom do we give thanks to?

We just finished Thanksgiving and are headed to the Christmas Celebration.

Yes; we know Jesus was not born on Dec. 25th but we celebrate it as not knowing the exact day He was born.

Count your blessings instead of your crosses;

Count your gains instead of your losses.

Count your joys instead of your woes;

Count your friends instead of your foes.

Count your smiles instead of your tears;

Count your courage instead of your fears.

Count your full years instead of your lean;

Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.

Count your health instead of your wealth;

Count on God instead of yourself.

If we truly believe; we can never stop giving thanks to God the Father and God the Son for what was done in our behalf.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving Day and hope you don’t get caught up in the greed of the season.

These businesses want the dollar but refuse to acknowledge Jesus as the reason for the season.

Sitting in front of a store for a week when the same thing could be bought online.

We could be sitting somewhere thanking God for what we already have, not what we want.

  1. Great reminder seems in the most difficult times of trial and trauma we need to remember Jesus can fix all things.
