Good Morning

Good Morning

Psalms 30:5

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

This was written in celebration of his palace in Jerusalem.

David sometimes running, hiding, triumphing, failing and making big mistakes.

After all he was through he knew that God’s love always overcomes His anger.

God is slow to anger but that does not mean He never gets angry. Those who exceeded God’s patience were punished.

Years after writing Psalms 30 David felt the anger of God after commiting adultery with Bathsheba. The baby died in infancy, it broke David’s heart.

God’s anger was for a moment and gave David another child, a son named Solomon, who was in our Lord’s lineage.

Receiving God’s punishments brings the “dark night” and as God allows you to see spiritually you can see a “good morning”

The sun of God’s love always shines again, with the hope and healing that brings joy.

2Chronicles 6:19

Yet give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy, O LORD my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence.

Repentence can bring peace.

Numbers 6:26

the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’

Every morning if you wake up with God on your mind and the thoughts of what you can do for Him today you will find the day is better with Him than without Him.

Yes: there are always trials you face each day; but they are easier to handle with the help of God.
